We deliver High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) programmes to all of our clients. We work a lot on mobility, flexibility and movement with early years and KS1 to develop the key motor skills required during exercise. Exercise intensity and complexity is then progressed throughout KS2. We deliver HIIT in conjunction with recreational activities, team games, relays and boxercise classes. What sets our sessions apart? By employing HIIT into our sessions we are able to push participants much harder both physically and mentally, we keep sitting about and waiting to a minimum as our aim is to give those involved a challenging but fun fitness workout session.

High intensity Interval training (HIIT) combines short bursts of exercise at maximum intensity with intervals of active rest. What HIIT offers is a time efficient exercise technique that can be implemented into various forms of activity and burn up to twice as many calories compared to steady state exercise or sports. Supported by robust research, HIIT has shown to improve aerobic and anaerobic fitness, cardiovascular health, metabolic and cellular function, decrease blood pressure and reduce fat while maintaining muscle mass.
